Code of Conduct

The registrants declare that the information provided is true, and they understand that giving incorrect information may result in their exclusion from their participation .

Participants are expected to uphold a culture of respect and inclusivity, treating all fellow participants with kindness, empathy, and consideration.Harassment or offensive behavior based on personal attributes is strictly prohibited. Discrimination on the basis of age, race, religion, disability, ethnicity, nationality, political views, sexual orientation, physical appearance, gender identity and expression, computing experience, chosen programming language, or professionalism is not tolerated.

Participants must respect individual privacy, obtaining consent before capturing photographs or recording audio/video, especially in prohibited areas, and ensuring all involved parties are willing participants.

Participants are informed that our event has a zero-tolerance policy toward disrespectful behavior, personal conflicts, use of foul language, offensive and discriminatory verbal comments, public displays of affection, intentional disruptions, inappropriate physical contact, unwanted sexual advances, bullying, and any other form of harassment. We prioritize creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all the participants.

Participants must comply with rules, regulations and protocols of the venue, take responsibility for any damage or misuse of property, and safeguard personal belongings. Theft or misuse of others' belongings will result in appropriate action by the organizer. There will be security and CCTV surveillance in operation.

Participants are required to conduct themselves professionally by being punctual, attentive, and respectful towards fellow participants,the organizers, sponsors, visitors, mentors, and other attendees. Follow additional guidelines and instructions provided by the event organizers

Any developments produced by participants in hackathon will be their property, and they will hold all rights, titles, and interests in those developments, including any associated intellectual property rights.

Participants are requested to bring the following items: a laptop, comfortable clothing that is not revealing, a form of identification (such as a college ID, citizenship document, national identity card or driver's license), and any personal items they may need.

Magazines, sharp things (such as knives, knuckles, or nails), toxic products (such as tobacco, alcohol, or cigarettes), and any other restricted items are completely forbidden for participants to bring. These restrictions are for the safety and well-being of all participants.
10.
Participants are strongly encouraged to submit projects developed exclusively during the hackathon. Any type of plagiarism ,without giving due credit, will result in immediate disqualification.
11.
Participants agree to accept and abide by this Code of Conduct. In case of violation of the Code of Conduct, the organizing team has the right to take appropriate action including expulsion from SXC Sandbox and, if necessary, pursuing legal measures.
12.
If you witness any breaches of this Code of Conduct , we strongly urge you to reach out to our volunteers or organizers. We will have options to maintain your anonymity.
